Kevin and Heather got married on a cool August day at Camp Daniel Boone Boyscout Camp in Canton, NC. Surrounded by rolling mountains and lush forests, they said their vows and embarked on a wonderful new life together.
I’ve known Kevin and Heather for several years now, we met on a backpacking trip over Labor Day in 2010. So how perfect was it when, a year later, Kevin proposed on the trail on the same annual trip a year later? It’s been so fun, being there for the proposal, to shooting their engagement photos, to being part of their wedding this past August!
They are such a sweet, genuine couple. Their wedding day was characterized by lots of friends, family, and laughter. A super fun bridal party helped too! Everything, from the paper tablecloths for the guests to draw on, to the colorful (AND DELICIOUS) cupcakes just screamed Kevin and Heather; laid back, fun, and wonderful!
Special thanks to Brad Nemitz for second-shooting with me on this one 🙂
The day started early…at 6:30am! It was super fun running around with everyone in PJ’s, drinking coffee, and revving up for the day!
These guys were a hoot…it helped that I had gone to school with several of them. They were full of hilarious photo ideas!
Looking for a first glimpse of the handsome groom…
Nothing sweeter than momma walking you down the aisle 🙂
Congrats Kevin and Heather! May God bless you and your new life together for years and years and years to come 🙂
