On your wedding day, you can expect to barely notice us most of the time. (Think about us as your extra bridesmaid or groomsmen who's there just to make you look and feel good). We want every photo we take to be a genuine representation of a real memory. To that end, we'll gently guide you through the stages of your wedding day without posing you or faking things. We know the ins and outs of wedding days and managing scenes and emotion, and we do everything in our power to set our scenes before moments start happening. We may ask you to stand in a certain spot, or turn towards the light, as you're about to get into your dress, but once that process of getting into it starts, you won't even know we're there.
Because this day isn't about us.
It's about you, and that's how we want you to remember it.

We'll spend a lot of time before your wedding day learning all the important details, people, and traditions that you're incorporating into your day. We'll get a feel for your love story, your relationship, and your personalities, so on the wedding day you don't have to worry at all about the photos. Just sit back and let your day happen organically, resting in the knowledge that we're going to capture every tear, every spontaneous laugh, every moment of organic emotion, as well as all the carefully planned details you spent so much time and energy on. On your wedding day, making the day feel as natural as possible for you and then capturing that genuine emotion is our top priority.

We try throughout the whole day to foster genuine emotion and organic moments. One of the best ways we've found to do this is by building in space for that emotion to grow and be felt. At particularly emotional points in the day, we love to make space where you and your beloved can be alone, with no camera (I know right? WHAT???), so you can fully and truly be yourselves. Right after your first look, you'll get a few minutes alone, no camera. Right after the ceremony, you'll get time to yourself, no camera. And at some point in the evening we'll steal you away for sunset or night portraits, after which we'll leave you to return to the reception in your own time, again, with no camera. No pressure, no expectations, no performing. Just you, your spouse, and your emotions.
